Creator & Publisher Terms

Last updated: May 2026 · Version 5.0

1. Who These Terms Cover

These Creator & Publisher Terms ("Creator Terms") govern participation in the AVALW publishing program by creators, journalists, companies, and academic contributors who publish content on an AVALW subdomain (for example yourname.avalw.com) and whose content may also appear on avalw.com. By applying for or using a creator/company account, you agree to these Creator Terms in addition to the general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

2. Account Types and Eligibility

3. Your Subdomain and Profile

Approved accounts receive a personal AVALW subdomain and profile. You are responsible for all content published under your account. AVALW may assign, change, or reclaim a subdomain where necessary (for example for trademark, impersonation, or policy reasons).

4. Content Ownership and Licence

You retain ownership of and intellectual-property rights in the content you submit. By publishing on AVALW you grant Avalw S.R.L. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, translate, and promote your content on AVALW properties, including your subdomain and avalw.com, and in AVALW communications, for as long as the content is published with us.

To avoid duplicate-content penalties, an article you publish may appear both on your subdomain and on avalw.com, with the canonical URL pointing to avalw.com. You confirm you have all rights necessary to grant this licence.

5. Content Standards

You are solely responsible for the content you publish. Content must be accurate, lawful, and your own original work or properly licensed. The following are prohibited: plagiarism; fabricated or invented facts presented as reporting; illegal, infringing, defamatory, or hateful material; malware or deceptive links; and any content that violates applicable law or the general Terms and Conditions.

AVALW applies editorial standards and human oversight and may edit, label, decline, or remove content that does not meet these standards, or that creates legal or reputational risk.

6. Advertising and Revenue Share

AVALW is supported by advertising. AVALW may display clearly labelled ("Ad"), contextual advertising, supplied by a third-party advertising partner, on and around your content. This advertising uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, as described in the general Terms and Privacy Policy.

Revenue share. You earn a share of the advertising revenue from approved advertising clicks attributed to your content. The current creator share is 50% of the approved click revenue attributed to your account. Only clicks that the advertising partner marks as approved generate earnings; displayed impressions, declined clicks, and clicks flagged as invalid or fraudulent do not.

The revenue-share percentage, attribution method, and reporting are shown in your dashboard and may be updated from time to time on a going-forward basis.

7. Earnings, Wallet, and Payouts

8. Anti-Fraud and Prohibited Conduct

To keep the advertising ecosystem trustworthy, the following are strictly prohibited: clicking your own advertisements; using bots, scripts, click farms, or automated or incentivised traffic; artificially inflating views, clicks, or engagement; and encouraging others to click advertisements for reasons other than genuine interest.

Invalid, self-generated, or fraudulent clicks are not paid, and any amounts previously credited for them may be reversed. AVALW may investigate suspicious activity, withhold or reverse affected earnings, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

9. Intellectual Property of AVALW

The AVALW name, logos, subdomain structure, and platform are the property of Avalw S.R.L. Your right to use the AVALW name is limited to identifying yourself as an AVALW creator/publisher while your account is active.

10. Suspension and Termination

You may stop publishing and request account closure at any time. AVALW may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Creator Terms, the general Terms, or applicable law. On termination, eligible earnings that have cleared and exceed the payout threshold remain payable, subject to verification and to any adjustments under Sections 7 and 8. Published content may be removed or unpublished.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The creator program is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. AVALW does not guarantee any level of traffic, advertising fill, click volume, or earnings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avalw S.R.L. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the program.

12. Changes to These Terms

Avalw S.R.L. may update these Creator Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the dashboard or by email. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Creator Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Creator Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and applicable European Union law. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights.

14. Contact
