A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle collision in Brampton on Tuesday morning, according to CBC News. The broadcaster reported that officers responded to the crash at about 7:40 a.m. at Sun Pac Boulevard and Queen Street in the city, where a sedan and a motorcyclist had come together.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene, CBC reported. According to the broadcaster, that came despite the best efforts of paramedics who worked to save him after emergency crews arrived at the intersection following the early-morning call.
The sedan involved in the collision remained on scene, CBC reported. The broadcaster said the driver did not leave the intersection, and that police were able to begin their work at the site with both vehicles present as they looked into what had happened.
