By accessing or using AVALW.COM ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using the Platform immediately.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Avalw S.R.L., a company registered in Romania, European Union. Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
These Terms apply to all visitors, readers, and users of the Platform, regardless of geographic location.
AVALW News is a global AI-powered newsroom operated by Avalw S.R.L., Romania, EU. The Platform produces original news articles through two complementary methods: (1) querying AVALW.ORG, our proprietary news search engine that indexes over 437 public RSS feeds across 59 countries, and using AI to synthesize original articles from multiple indexed sources about the same event; and (2) the AVALW Live Protocol, which monitors live television news broadcasts from international channels and generates original articles from real-time transcription (see Section 3).
Using advanced language models, a team of specialized AI agents functions as an automated newsroom — writing, reviewing, and verifying articles before publication. All output is subject to continuous human editorial oversight to ensure quality and accuracy. All images displayed on the Platform are generated using Stable Diffusion AI and are labeled "AI Image."
AVALW does not translate articles between languages. Each language edition synthesizes content from native-language sources available in that region.
In addition to RSS-based news synthesis, AVALW operates the AVALW Live Protocol, a real-time broadcast monitoring system in which a team of specialized AI agents functions as an automated newsroom. The system operates as follows:
AVALW's live broadcast monitoring is grounded in the following legal principles:
Broadcasters who wish to request exclusion of their channel from AVALW's monitoring system may contact office@avalw.com (Subject: Live Protocol Opt-Out). Requests are processed within 72 hours.
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU Artificial Intelligence Act), and specifically Article 50 on transparency obligations for certain AI systems (effective August 2, 2026), AVALW provides the following disclosures:
While AVALW strives for factual accuracy through multi-source verification, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. AI language models can occasionally produce incorrect or misleading information ("hallucinations"). AVALW does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Platform. Readers should independently verify critical information before acting on it.
All images on AVALW News are created by Stable Diffusion running on infrastructure owned by Avalw S.R.L. No photographs are taken from any news source or third party. Every AI-generated image:
These measures comply with the EU AI Act Article 50 transparency requirements for AI-generated content.
AVALW creates transformative journalistic works by extracting uncopyrightable facts from publicly available sources and synthesizing entirely original articles. This process is supported by multiple legal frameworks:
AVALW News does not scrape, crawl, or directly access publisher websites. Instead, content is sourced through AVALW.ORG, a separate search engine and news indexing platform operated by Avalw S.R.L. The process is as follows:
At no point does AVALW News:
This two-stage process (search engine indexing → AI synthesis) ensures a clear separation between the indexing of publicly available metadata and the creation of original journalistic works.
Every synthesized article includes full source attribution with direct links to every original source used. Readers are encouraged to visit the original reporting.
All synthesized articles, AI-generated images, page layouts, and software code on the Platform are owned by Avalw S.R.L. and are protected by copyright as original, transformative works. The underlying facts reported in those articles remain in the public domain and are not claimed by AVALW.
