A weeks-long search for a missing boy in Calgary has come to a tragic end, according to CBC News.
Police say they have found what they believe to be the remains of the 11-year-old.
The boy, Parker, had autism and was nonverbal, and vanished after walking away from his day home on July 16th.
Investigators believe Parker entered a culvert and traveled through a network of unsafe pipes, where he later died.
His disappearance sparked a citywide search involving hundreds of officers and volunteers.
A CBC News reporter said they hoped Parker's family could take some comfort in knowing they were not alone during the search.
