Kenya's under-17 women's football team, the Junior Starlets, got off to a flying start in their regional championship campaign in Tanzania, thrashing Sudan 16-0.
The goal fest began right from the opening minutes, with Brenda Achieng leading the rout by scoring seven goals.
By half-time, Kenya already held a commanding 13-0 lead over their outclassed opponents.
The match was eventually abandoned in the 64th minute, when Sudan were reduced to only six players through injuries, falling below the minimum number of players required to continue a game.
Sudan had travelled to the tournament with a small squad, which left them unable to replace the players who picked up injuries during the match.
Kenya now turn their attention to their remaining group fixtures, facing Somalia on Monday before concluding the group stage against hosts Tanzania on Wednesday.
