Former Attorney General Pam Bondi appeared before the House Oversight Committee for a transcribed interview on the Epstein investigation. Chairman Comer announced upcoming witnesses including Bill Gates on June 10, Leon Black on June 26, and Jess Staley on July 23.
Former Attorney General Pam Bondi appeared before the House Oversight Committee for her second voluntary session in the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein investigation. The closed-door transcribed interview is the 13th in a series of hearings that have produced new names and revelations with each session.
Chairman Comer announced a significant list of upcoming witnesses. Bill Gates is scheduled for June 10, Leslie Groff, an Epstein assistant, for June 9, Leon Black for June 26, Doug Band for June 30, Kathy Rumler for July 15, and Jess Staley for July 23. The committee continues to build its case methodically.
Comer stated bluntly that the government has failed the Epstein survivors across five presidential administrations. He emphasized that the case has never been thoroughly investigated and that documents subpoenaed from the estate contained information that various law enforcement agencies had never previously seen.
The chairman revealed that the investigation has uncovered disconnect between different jurisdictions. He believes documents held by the Department of Justice, New Mexico officials, Southern District of New York, and Palm Beach were never cross-referenced, leaving significant gaps in the overall investigation.
Epstein survivors attended the hearing and have repeatedly called for greater accountability and transparency. Many crimes in question occurred more than 20 years ago, creating legal challenges for prosecution, but the committee has pledged to do everything in its ability to hold people accountable, LiveNOW FOX reported.
