Two people were taken into custody in connection with the gunfire. Police say 46-year-old Damien Mullins and his 14-year-old son were arrested.

The arrests did not come immediately, but followed within the same day. Police say the pair were taken into custody several hours after the shootings.

Both of the suspects are local. Police say Mullins and his son are both from Bridgeport.

The people who were shot were teenagers from a neighboring town. The victims are an 18-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, both from Stratford.
