A search is underway in the Bronx for a teenager accused of stabbing two school aides inside a high school, according to police.
Police say the incident began when a student believed to be between 15 and 17 years old got into an argument with one of the school aides.
During the confrontation, according to police, the student pulled out what officers believe was a scalpel.
The student stabbed a 53-year-old school aide in the left arm, police say.
A second school aide was cut on the hand while trying to break up the fight.
Both men were taken to the hospital. Police say they are expected to be OK.
The student fled after the attack, and police say no one is in custody at this time. The search for the teenager is ongoing.
