Three people were transported to local hospitals following the blast. One remains in critical but stable condition, while the other two have either been released or are expected to be discharged. An additional two people self-transported to hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries that have already been treated.
Heavy equipment has been brought to the scene to help tear down parts of the building that remained standing after the explosion. While demolition crews work on the structure, personnel are simultaneously using hand tools to carefully sift through debris to ensure no additional victims are present.
Senator Ted Cruz posted on social media that his team is actively monitoring the situation, saying he and his wife are praying for the families of those impacted. He thanked the firefighters, police officers, EMTs and first responders working through the night at the scene.
