Newly released body camera video captures a moment a routine traffic stop in Florida turned violent, according to Fox 26 Houston.
Police say Chakoy Donovan refused to step out of his vehicle, the station reported.
One officer was thrown across the pavement after being dragged 15 feet, according to Fox 26 Houston.
The other officer, identified as Officer Murray, was pinned inside the car as it reached 35 miles per hour, the station reported. She was dragged in the car, pinned like that, for about 330 feet.
Donovan managed to escape before he turned himself in, according to Fox 26 Houston.
Both officers are expected to be okay, the station reported.
Donovan is charged with attempted murder, according to Fox 26 Houston.
