A Houston rapper is behind bars this week, facing a serious charge in a case involving the mother of his children. Warren Brown, who performs under the name Cartel Bo, has been jailed as authorities pursue the allegations against him, marking an abrupt turn for the local artist.

Despite being restrained, the woman managed to get free. Authorities say she was able to break out and run to a neighbor for help, escaping the situation and reaching out to someone nearby who could assist her.
Her flight from the scene ended when officers located her at a nearby restaurant. That is where authorities connected with the woman as the case against Brown began to take shape, based on what she reported to them.
