A car wash went up in flames at a shopping center in Manteca, California, on Tuesday night, in a fire that was captured on video sent in by a viewer. Despite the intensity of the blaze, no injuries were reported.

According to the Manteca Fire Department, the fire happened at around 8:30 in the evening. By the time firefighters arrived at the scene, the building was already fully involved, meaning the flames had taken hold across the structure.

The car wash that caught fire is located at a shopping center off East Yosemite Avenue, near Spreckels Avenue. The building sits right behind a Jack-in-the-Box, and in the video of the fire it can at first look as though the restaurant itself is burning, when in fact it is the car wash just behind it.

Officials said that there were cars inside the car wash at the time the fire broke out. The presence of vehicles inside the building added to the concern as the flames spread through the structure.

Even so, the fire department reported that no injuries were caused by the blaze. Crews were able to deal with the fire without anyone being hurt at the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this stage. The footage shared by the viewer offered an early look at the scale of the flames, while fire officials work to determine how the blaze started.
