A car parked in front of a house in Miramar, Florida, was struck by lightning, setting off a large fire in the neighborhood.
The blaze, which was captured on video, grew quickly after the lightning hit the vehicle.
Officials said no one was inside the car at the time it was struck by the lightning.
Adding to the danger was a gas leak reported in the area around the fire.
Neighbors described the scene as a frightening experience, especially once they learned that there was a gas leak nearby.
Miramar Fire crews responded to the scene and worked to put out the flames.
