A 65-year-old man is dead after an overnight house fire tore through a home on Camille Street in Pasadena, Texas, according to the chief of the Pasadena Fire Marshal's office. The blaze, which broke out in the early hours of the morning, left the home heavily damaged and is now the subject of an investigation.
The fire was first reported by a neighbor, who called it in just before 2 a.m. as flames took hold of the home near Red Bluff and Texas 225, the La Porte Freeway. That early alert set off a response from Pasadena firefighters, who rushed to the scene as the blaze intensified.
