A man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of a 31-year-old woman following a botched cosmetic procedure, according to Eyewitness News ABC7NY.
Felipe Hoyos Foranda entered the guilty plea last month over the death of Maria Penaloza.
Prosecutors say Penaloza went to Hoyos Foranda's apartment in the Astoria section of Queens last year to have implants on her backside removed.
She went into cardiac arrest after a lidocaine injection during the procedure.
Penaloza died two weeks later.
Hoyos Foranda faces up to 15 years in prison.
