A 72-year-old man has died after being hit by a van in a southwest Houston parking lot, according to police. The crash happened around 11 a.m. Friday outside the Delta Food Store on South Kirkwood. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died. The driver of the van stayed on scene and is cooperating with police.
