A former Frisco doctor, Michael Gallagher, and medical spa owner Amber Johnson now face murder charges over a deadly IV drip, according to Fox 26 Houston.
Jennifer Cleveland died at a Central Texas spa, the station reported.
Her death came after she received an unlicensed infusion of prescription vitamins and electrolytes, according to Fox 26 Houston.
Investigators say the spa owner administered the risky cocktail, which contained ingredients known to cause heart issues, the station reported.
The doctor failed to supervise the clinic from over 100 miles away, according to Fox 26 Houston.
The station reported that the person charged did not have a license to prescribe, and that the doctor was too far away for any needed oversight.
