Police are investigating a violent attack that sent a man to the hospital in Williamsburg late last night.
Investigators have pinpointed where and when it happened. They say it took place just before nine o'clock on Boerum Street between Lorimer and Leonard.
They have also described who was targeted and how the attack unfolded. A 30-year-old man was approached by two men and stabbed in his stomach.
The attack came with a robbery as well. The man also had his cell phone taken.
Emergency crews got him to care quickly. Paramedics rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where his condition was still being determined.
Neighbors in the area reacted to the news. Some who have lived there for decades said they were surprised to hear about the attack.
The people responsible have not been caught. Police say the two attackers took off after the stabbing, and there is not much of a description right now, other than one of them was wearing a black shirt.
