Police in East Chester have released new images of a man they say is responsible for two rapes at the same location, an investigation that authorities described as deeply unsettling for the surrounding community. Investigators said they now believe they know who was behind the attacks and are appealing to the public for help in locating him.
According to police, the suspect is 46-year-old Anthony Robinson. Investigators say he committed two separate rapes about six months apart, and, in a detail that authorities found especially alarming, that both attacks took place at the very same location.
Police said the attacks occurred at a home in the neighborhood, in the area between Bowler and Tillotson Avenues, and that both took place late at night. Investigators confirmed the general area of the assaults as they worked to reassure residents and gather information.
The first attack, according to police, happened just days before Thanksgiving, on November 23, 2025, at around 10 at night. Investigators say that is when Robinson raped a 30-year-old woman at the location.
The second attack came months later, on May 6 of this year, at around 11 at night. Police say Robinson struck a 22-year-old woman before raping her, in an assault at the same location that investigators said mirrored the earlier crime.
Both women were taken to a local hospital, where police said they were in stable condition. Authorities have not released further details about the victims, citing the nature of the case as the investigation continued.
Investigators described Robinson as about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 190 pounds, and urged anyone with information about him or his whereabouts to contact police. Authorities said identifying and locating the suspect was a priority given the seriousness of the two attacks.
