Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a shooting in Hamilton Township, the result of what police described as a months-long investigation into the case. According to News 12, both of those charged are from Hamilton, and their arrests bring a measure of resolution to an incident that had been under scrutiny by investigators for some time.
The shooting itself unfolded on a residential street. Police say that shots were fired on Denby Court, and that the gunfire struck a house, turning a quiet block into a crime scene and prompting the investigation that would eventually lead detectives to the suspects they say were responsible.
A key piece of the case came from video evidence gathered in the aftermath. According to police, surveillance footage captured a stolen car speeding through the area near the scene shortly after the shooting, giving investigators a crucial lead as they worked to trace those involved.

After months of work, investigators announced the charges against the two young suspects. Police identified one of them as 19-year-old Antonio Martinez, while the second was described only as an unidentified 17-year-old, both of whom were hit with multiple charges in connection with the case, including attempted murder.
