Two men have been arrested after police busted two businesses in Roosevelt, on Long Island, for illegal gambling devices, according to Nassau County police.
Officers seized two devices along with 1,200 dollars from a food and shake shop on Nassau Road in Roosevelt, police said, as part of the crackdown.
At a food market on Babylon Turnpike, also in Roosevelt, police said they found four machines during the operation.
Officers recovered nearly 400 dollars at that second location, according to police, adding to the cash and equipment seized in the case.
The two arrests followed the seizures at the two Roosevelt businesses, as authorities moved against the illegal gambling devices.
Busts of this kind typically target machines that operate as unlicensed gambling devices, with police seizing the equipment and any cash tied to their use.
