A teenager has been killed in a single-vehicle crash overnight on Interstate 95 in Broward County, Florida, in an incident that has left a young life cut short on one of the region's busiest highways. According to the authorities, the driver was seventeen years old, and the crash happened in the early hours along a stretch of the southbound carriageway.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash occurred on southbound I-95 in the area of Hallandale Beach Boulevard. According to troopers, the teenager lost control of the vehicle, which then crashed through the guardrail at the side of the road and ended up in a ditch, bringing the journey to a sudden and fatal end.
