Prime Big Deal Days Ends Today: The Gaming Bargains You Cannot Miss

The clock is ticking down on Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days, and the window slams shut today, October 7. If you have been waiting for the perfect moment to clear out your backlog or finally pick up that triple A title you have been eyeing, this is it. These deals are exclusive to Prime members and represent the last call for a significant chunk of the year's best releases. You do not have much time left to act, so every minute counts.

2026 has been a remarkable year for video games, but keeping up with the releases has not been cheap. That is why this sale is so crucial. We are not talking about minor markdowns here. We are seeing genuine price cuts on critical darlings and massive hits that have rarely dropped below their launch price. Whether you play on PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, or PC, there is a specific deal waiting for you right now that fits your budget and platform preference.

The urgency of this event cannot be overstated because these are not the fleeting flash sales that appear and disappear within minutes. Instead, this is a curated final opportunity that spans the entire day, allowing you to carefully consider your purchases without the panic of a one hour window. It is the kind of sale where you can actually think about what you want before committing to the buy, which is a rare luxury in the fast paced world of digital gaming retail.

The Critical Darlings on Sale

Two titles stand out immediately because of their critical acclaim and the rarity of their discounts. Star Wars: Zero Company and The Blood of Dawnwalker are both on sale for console players. Zero Company has dropped to $47.99, which is a $12 reduction from its list price. This is its first discount since launch, making it a significant opportunity for anyone who missed it during the holiday rush or simply waited for a better entry point into the series.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is also seeing its first price cut, dropping to $59.49. That is over $10 off its original $69.99 MSRP. Both games received 9/10 scores from IGN, which makes them easy recommendations. If you have been on the fence about either, the combination of high praise and a meaningful discount is hard to ignore. You are getting quality content for less money than it has ever cost, which is a rare occurrence for such highly regarded titles in their first year of release.

What makes these two games particularly special is the fact that they are not just any old releases. They are the flagship titles that defined the narrative and action gameplay trends of this year. By securing them now, you are not just buying a game; you are investing in a piece of gaming history that is being offered at a discount. The fact that these specific titles are seeing their first markdowns signals that the market is shifting, and this is the safest time to buy before prices potentially stabilize or rise again in the future.

Major Hits Seeing Significant Discounts

Pragmata is another standout entry for 2026, and it is currently down to $39.99 across PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Switch 2. This is a solid entry point into one of the year's most talked about action RPGs. The price drop makes it accessible to a much wider audience, including those who might have hesitated due to the initial high price tag. It is a chance to experience the innovative mechanics and story that have kept the community buzzing throughout the year.

Meanwhile, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has dropped to $59. This is a $10 saving, similar to the Dawnwalker discount, and it is a great way to enjoy a fun, lighthearted take on the DC universe. The LEGO series has always been a staple for family friendly gaming, and this installment brings a fresh coat of paint to the Dark Knight character. It is a perfect choice for casual gamers or those looking for a stress free experience after a long day of work or school.

Resident Evil: Requiem is also down to $49.99 for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Switch 2. According to IGN's coverage, this is a favorite of 2026 so far. The survival horror genre is having a moment, and getting this title for under $50 is a no brainer for fans of the series. These are not just random picks. They are high profile titles that are seeing their most accessible prices yet, making them essential additions to any serious gamer's library this year.

The Deepest Discounts of the Sale

If you are looking for proper, deep discounts, the final few hours of the sale are delivering them. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is available on PlayStation 5 for just $16.99. This is a genuine bargain, and IGN notes that it is likely to sell out before the sale finishes. Over a hundred hours of content for less than $17 is an incredible value proposition that you should not overlook. It is the kind of deal that redefines what you should expect from a premium AAA title in the modern era.

The Remake Intergrade is also $19.99 for PlayStation 5. Both of these Final Fantasy titles have dropped to their lowest prices ever for Switch 2 as well, at $24.99 and $34.99 respectively. These are historic lows for these specific games, and they represent the kind of deal that rarely appears outside of major sales events. If you have been waiting for the right time to dive into the world of Final Fantasy 7, now is that time, and the risk of missing out is real.

The sheer volume of content in these Final Fantasy titles means that the cost per hour of gameplay is almost negligible. You are getting an entire open world experience, deep character development, and a story that spans multiple days of play for a fraction of the usual cost. This is not just a discount; it is an invitation to experience one of the most ambitious RPGs of the decade without breaking the bank. Do not let these historic lows slip through your fingers.

Racing and Other Highlights

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is another notable deal, sitting at $19.99 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox. That is a $50 discount for a limited time, which is substantial for a racing title. IGN gave this game a 9 in its review last year, and the recommendation is strong. It is a high energy, fun experience that is now significantly more affordable, making it a perfect choice for local multiplayer sessions or competitive online play with friends and family.

As the sale winds down, the selection of deals is narrowing. These are the highlights that remain accessible to Prime members. Once October 7 ends, these prices are gone, and you will have to wait for the next major sale event. Do not let this opportunity slip by. Check out your platform of choice and grab the titles that have been on your list for too long, as waiting will only result in paying full price again.

The variety in this final wave of deals ensures that there is something for everyone, from the hardcore RPG fan to the casual racer. You do not need to be a power user or a speed runner to benefit from these prices. The goal is simple: to get more gaming into your life for less money. Take advantage of the fact that these specific titles are being cleared out, and secure your copy before the servers reset and the prices jump back to their standard list values.
