AVALW launches the Ambassadors program. Readers who share stories and bring new visitors earn share points and compete for monthly cash prizes. Respect for creators and readers alike.
For too long, the way information travels online has been dictated by opaque algorithms and a handful of dominant platforms. AVALW starts from a simpler belief: the most authentic force behind a good story is still the person who chooses to share it. Today we turn that belief into something concrete. We are officially launching the AVALW Ambassadors program, through which, for the first time, not only creators but also readers are rewarded, in real money, for the value they bring to the community.
Readers matter as much as creators
We built AVALW on the idea that a content platform rests on two equally important groups of people: those who write and those who read. Too often, recognition flows in only one direction, and the reader is reduced to a number on a dashboard. We reject that logic. An engaged reader, one who comments thoughtfully, appreciates the work of others and passes on the articles worth reading, is every bit as valuable as the author who wrote them.
This philosophy already shapes how a reader account works on AVALW. Anyone can create a free account, build their own library of saved articles, and even make it public, turning it into a living recommendation for others. A reader account is not a simple login. It is a real identity inside the community, one that grows and earns recognition over time.
Over time, that identity gains weight. A commenter whose contributions add value can be followed by other users, exactly as an author is followed, and can build an audience of their own. On top of this social layer we added a dimension of gamification: readers rise through levels as they stay active, appear in global activity leaderboards, and can unlock badges that mark their journey. Every comment, every appreciation and every day of reading leaves a visible trace.
To keep this space of conversation clean and orderly, user comments are moderated automatically by artificial intelligence. Messages that respect the community rules are approved instantly, with no queues and no delays, while spam, disguised advertising and abusive language are filtered out from the start. The result is an environment where quality discussion comes to the front, and serious readers are rewarded with visibility rather than buried under noise.
How the Ambassadors program works
On this solid foundation we wanted to build something genuinely new. We asked ourselves a simple question: if an ordinary reader can become a respected voice in the community, why could they not also become an ambassador of the platform, concretely rewarded for their real influence? That is how the Ambassadors program was born, open to any user, no matter how new or how experienced they are.
The mechanism is transparent and free of complications. When you are logged in and find an article you like, you can share it on your social networks directly from the article Share button. The system automatically generates a personal link for you, and from there it works on its own: every new visitor who reaches that article through your link becomes a share point. In effect, you are recognized for every real person you bring to a story on AVALW.
We did, however, set a threshold that speaks to exclusivity, because the title of ambassador must mean something. To enter the competition itself, a user needs a minimum of 1,000 share points, meaning the articles they have shared must together have gathered at least a thousand visits from real readers. Below that threshold you can accumulate points at your own pace, but the competition for prizes remains reserved for those who demonstrate genuine impact.
The prizes
The competition rewards the top three ambassadors on the leaderboard each month, as the respect they are due: first place receives 100 US dollars, second place 50 US dollars, and third place 25 US dollars. At the start of every month the leaderboard resets to zero, so each season offers a real chance to everyone, not only to those who led before. It is a system built to reward consistency and involvement, not one lucky moment.
And what is asked of you in return is surprisingly simple. You only need to be logged in and to press the Share button whenever you come across an article worth passing on. There are no forms to fill in, no separate registrations and no hidden steps. The gesture you already make anyway, sending a good article to others, suddenly carries value for you as well.
Why this makes AVALW stronger
The beauty of this model is that it works in both directions at once. On one hand, you, as an ambassador, are rewarded. On the other, every share makes AVALW more visible organically, exactly as it happens naturally when one person recommends to another something they believe in. The difference is that, this time, your effort is no longer lost in the void, but counted and honored.
Because, honestly, if you are going to share an article you like from AVALW anyway, why should you not be able to receive something in return? That was the question we started from. It did not seem fair to us that the value you generate, by bringing in new readers, should remain entirely unrecognized. The Ambassadors program is our direct answer to that question.
In essence, we set out to restore a balance. Until now, AVALW respect for work was directed mainly at creators, at those who produce the rich content of the platform. That was natural, but it was incomplete. From today, through this program, ordinary users feel that same respect, expressed not only in words but through a concrete reward for their contribution to the growth of the community.
The math behind it is as simple as it is honest. You enter a competition whose purpose is to make AVALW more visible by bringing new people to the stories on the platform, and in return for that effort you are rewarded with money and public recognition. There are no traps and no vague promises: you bring value, and you receive value back.
The effect then spreads throughout the entire ecosystem. Creators are pleased, because their articles receive more reads and, with them, more subscribers. The platform gains new users, who in turn may become active readers or even ambassadors themselves. In this way, the whole community begins to sustain itself: readers bring readers, creators gain an audience, and that audience feeds the desire of creators to produce even better content.
This, in the end, is the spirit of AVALW: a platform where every role is seen and rewarded, from the author who writes to the reader who shares. The Ambassadors program is not a mere campaign, but a statement about how we understand community, built together, in balance, with respect that goes both ways. We invite you to be part of it. Open an article you like, press Share, and let us make AVALW bigger, together.
